We hold special dining events on occasions such as Christmas and St. Valentine's Day.

We have live music events throughout the year, both inside and outside.

The Plough Live Music - February / March 2010

The Bell Street Jazz Band in our conservatory

Friday 26th February we have Riverside Blues who will bring a mix of R & B, old school, blues classics and rock & roll with just a hint of AC/DC. 9pm

March 5th sees the return of The Mangledwurzels with all the classics to sing along and drink cider to. This went down a storm last time and the entertainment value is great. 9pm

March 12th Fast Company come to us for the first time with a lively mix of classic and modern covers. 9pm

March 17th is St Patricks Day and if you pop in there are bound to be some raggle taggle musicians singing and playing for their supper. Any time….

March 18th is the third of our Thursday Blues jams which so far have gone incredibly well with a good mix of talent turning up. All welcome from 8pm

March 19th and Headland are back. What else needs to be said. These boys rock. 9pm

March 25th is our regular folk/acoustic night with performers and listeners all welcome from 8pm

March 26th and we welcome back The Monuments with therir lively mix of country/ rock greats ( all performed in wonderful hats )

Music usually starts at around 9.00pm, and admission is, of course, free!

The Plough Summer Party and Beer Festival

 We hold a Summer Party and Beer Festival every year with various live bands

plus a BBQ on Friday & Saturday together with games on Saturday

We have lots of real ales on tap plus outside bar.

It's a great day out for the whole family .

2010 Dates are16th, 17th & 18th July 2010
