The Plough Live Music - January 2010
Hello and a Happy New and Melodic Year to all
We kick off the booking list for this month on Friday 15th with some classic rockin’ from The Misfits, known amongst certain circles as the good, the bad and the ugly, although which is which who can tell… 9pm start
Thursday 21st is the first of our blues/ blues rock jam nights with musicians and singers all welcome to come along and join in. Phone me on 01258 472484 for any further information on this. 8pm start.
Friday 22nd and we have some indie/punk in the form of Monkeyface, first seen at the beer festival two years ago where they performed heroically in front of the sewerage tanker. They cover classics from the Stone Roses, The Jam, Nirvana and REM throwing in some original material. Worth seeing if you like to rock out. 9pm start
Thursday 28th is our regular folk/acoustic night with players, singers, poets and performers all welcomed to sing for their supper from 8pm.
Friday 29th we welcome Blues Express, a 5 piece band well established on the local and not so local circuits. They bring us blues, soul, funk, and rhythm & blues through the wonderful and powerful vocals of Tina Bray. 9pm start
Music usually starts at around 9.00pm, and admission is, of course, free!

Summer Party and Beer
Festival
We hold a Summer Party and Beer Festival every year with various live bands
plus a BBQ on Friday & Saturday together with games on Saturday
We have lots of real ales on tap plus outside bar.
It's a great day out for the whole family .
Next Year's Dates are18th, 17th & 18th July 2010
