We hold special dining events on occasions such as Christmas and St. Valentine's Day.
We have live music events throughout the year, both inside and outside.
The Plough Live Music - June 2009
Friday 3rd 9pm King Tutz and the Queens of DNile. A rockin good night with covers from the 70s through to the nineties. Female vocals backed up with some of the best guitars youll hear all month anywhere.
Saturday 4th 7pm Jimmy Lewis plays classical and flamenco guitar to accompany your dining experience.
Friday 10th 9pm- Moveable Feast. This is the third time the guys form London have played here and they just get better every time. Roots, folk, rock and a feast of sound to dance to.
Thursday 16th 8pm- our regular jazz evening with a selection of singers being accompanied by piano, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, double bass and whatever else turns up. Players and listeners welcome.
Friday 17th The first night of our Beer Festival. Outside stage with The Monuments kicking off with country rock at 7pm, followed by Solid Soul, an eleven piece rhythm and blues band at 9pm.
Saturday 18th. Day two sees the Open Mic stage run from 12 noon with a selection of acts from classical;, jazz, blues, rock anything really. Was a huge hit last year and will be so again.
7pm Georgie Girl brings us excellent rock covers with Fiver.
9pm The good ole boys from Loose Connections take us rockin and laughing through Saturday night.
( Fifteen real ales available this year with the theme of colour wear something colourful with your dancing shoes!
Sunday 19th we finish off the beer in the garden to the delightful sounds of The 4-4 Jazz band. New Orleans and a pint of something tasty wonderfull.
Thursday 23rd 8pm our regular folk/acoustic night with the chance to play, sing or recite for your supper. All Welcome.
Fridays 24th The rock dont stop with Headland from 9pm.
Friday 31st to be confirmed.

P.s. we have outside jazz or boogie woogie in the garden on hot Sundays but this is advertised in the Improvisations section of the Blackmore Vale magazine.
Music usually starts at around 9.00pm, and admission is, of course, free!

Festival
We hold a Summer Party and Beer Festival every year with various live bands
plus a BBQ on Friday & Saturday together with games on Saturday
We have 15 real ales on tap plus outside bar.
It's a great day out for the whole family .
This year's dates are 17, 18 and 19 July.
We have a fantastic line-up including Loose Connections, Solid Soul, The Monuments, and Jazz Sunday.
. The Open Mic that was so successful last year is being repeated and bookings are being taken for the half hour slots available between 12-6pm.
