We hold special dining events on occasions such as Christmas and St. Valentine's Day.
We have live music events throughout the year, both inside and outside.
The Plough Live Music
Fri June 27th - brings us "Headland" - 3 piece rock / pop, modern and classic covers.
Friday 4th July - The return of "The Doghouse Boys" bringing us " country with the dirt left on"
Friday 11th - a completely unique Jazz gig, bringing together an eclectic mix of New Orleans
trad jazz musicians from the area. "JC's Stomping Six" - this is one not to be missed.
Friday 18, 19, 20 we hold our Annual Beer Festival and as well as carnival club entertainment and lots of fine
ales we have an outside stage built, with 3Way and The Monuments on Friday evening from 7pm, Mustang Sally
and Fat Spanner from 7pm Saturday and The 4-4 Jazz Band bringing us to a mellow close from 1pm Sunday afternoon.
There is also an Open Mic Stage on Saturday afternoon with half hour slots available from 12 noon til 5.30 pm to
showcase some of the best amateur talent from the area. More details at the bottom of this page.
Friday 25th - the welcome return of the BB Hall Band, a Dorchester based 4 piece with good renditions of rock and pop covers.
Music usually starts at around 8.30pm, and admission is, of course, free!

The Plough
Summer Party 2008
We hold a Summer Party every year with various live bands
plus a BBQ on Friday & Saturday together with games on Saturday
We have 14 real ales on tap plus outside bar.
It's a great day out for the whole family .
This year's dates are - July 18th, 19th and 20th
Bands include - The Monuments - 3way - The 4-4 Jazz Band
Mustang Sally and Fat Spanner
We also have Open Mike slots available on Saturday from 12 - 6pm.
Slots are 30 minutes each, including setup and takedown.
