We hold special dining events on occasions such as Christmas and St. Valentine's Day.
We have live music events throughout the year, both inside and outside.
The Plough Live Music - May 2010
Well with all this lovely weather we are going to start our Sunday lunchtime jazz and boogie woogie sessions in the garden again. I will try and let you know when they are but the best thing is to ring Saturday or Sunday morning as these are often weather dependant. Tel: 01258 472484 and ask for me.

Friday June 18th we have Shoestring Blues – new to us this 5 piece promise blues and blues/jazz/rock with “ A Texas feeling” 9pm
Thursday 24th is our regular folk/acoustic session with all welcome from 8pm
Friday 25th sees the return of Indigo – a highly popular pop covers band with some surprising material, but always a hit. 9pm
July 2nd May Contain Rock are back with their eclectic mix of rock covers. 9pm
Friday 9th and the Zoot Dukes return with a lively mix of swing jive and danceable jazz. Great fun. 9pm
The third weekend in July is our Beer Festival and the line-up is as follows.
Friday 16th 7pm – King Tutz kick off the festivities with covers from Fleetwood Mac through to ZZ Top. 9pm Loose Connections take us through til late with great music and great fun.
Saturday 17th – 12 noon til 6pm we are running the open Mic stage that has been so popular for the last two years, with some great talent popping up from the most unexpected places. Anyone wanting to appear on the stage needs to book in advance through me.
At 7pm Fiver lead the way for us, Georgie Girl doing what she does best. They are followed at 9pm by the superb Fast Company. If you haven’t seen these guys yet now’s the time – they are fab.
Sunday 18th 12 noon til 2.30 the 4-4 Jazz Band lead us , New Orleans style through the afternoon.
Thursday 22nd is our regular folk/acoustic night with all welcome from 8pm.
Friday 23rd the Demuirs are back – a very talented duo with all the right songs. 9pm
Friday 30th we hope to have the Seedy Cases – a 3 piece who can play just about any thing, including some original material. 9pm
Music usually starts at around 9.00pm, and admission is, of course, free!

Festival
We hold a Summer Party and Beer Festival every year with various live bands
plus a BBQ on Friday & Saturday together with games on Saturday
We have lots of real ales on tap plus outside bar.
It's a great day out for the whole family .
